Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard, Oakville

This 45 acre vineyard is a portion of the historic Vine Hill Ranch located north of the town of Yountville in the Oakville AVA in the Napa Valley. Purchased by Andy Beckstoffer in 1996, the vineyard was replanted after the phylloxera infestation to multiple clones of Cabernet Sauvignon. It has been a source for Jacquelynn Cabernet since the 2007 vintage.
Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, Oakville
The famed To Kalon vineyard has been considered one of the most influential vineyards in California since Napa Valley pioneer Hamilton Crabb first planted the site in 1868. Named To Kalon, the Greek word for “Highest Beauty”, this vineyard is nestled in the middle of the Oakville Appellation near the base of the western hills. The 89 acre Beckstoffer portion was acquired by Andy Beckstoffer in 1993, then replanted from 1994 to 1997, and remains true to its heritage producing some of the most outstanding fruit in Napa Valley. Beginning with the 2004 vintage, we have been blessed to work with this historic site.

Once in the mouth this wine is dense and round with a core of blue fruits, cigar box, and spicy oak. As with previous vintages, this wine can be enjoyed in its youth and will age gracefully for the next decade.
