Chateau Boswell became the first winery to be certified Napa Green in 2007 and the first to be recertified in 2010 by showing a further reduction in our environmental impact through the auditing of our green business practices which reduce our water and energy use and increase our recycling. There are currently 62 wineries in the Napa Valley certified through the Napa Green Program. More than 44,966 acres are enrolled in the Napa Green Land Program and more than 19,044 acres are currently certified.

Napa Green certification involves moving above and beyond this compliance including new technology and ideas for continually improving our practices to reduce our environmental impact.
