Chris Tynan Appointed Winemaker

Christopher Tynan, coming from Colgin Cellars as Assistant winemaker and having a background of winemaking experience with such luminaries as Mark Aubert and the team of Helen Turley and John Wetlaufer brings a dedication to top-notch vineyard management and low-intervention winemaking techniques that are well-suited to our focus on small-lot production of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Russian River Valley Chardonnay. Our tenet has always been that wines are made in the vineyard first. Christopher’s depth and breadth of experience will ensure that we maximize the unique characteristics of the fruit that comes from our estate and such renowned vineyards as Beckstoffer ToKalon, Ritchie and Dutton Ranch. And, as no single bottling of ours is more than a few hundred cases, having Christopher’s undivided attention will ensure that the individual personality and the quality of each wine are maintained from vineyard to bottle.
