Premiere Napa Valley Lot Fetches $400 Per Bottle

Last weekend's Premiere Napa Valley featured 200 Auction lots from Napa Valley top producers. Chateau Boswell once again finished among the top lots fetching $400 per bottle for a five case lot created especially for the auction from our 2009 Jacquelynn Beckstoffer To Kalon Cabernet Sauvignon.

Boswell 2008 Vintage Parker Scores

Chateau Boswell received their first scores from accailmed wine critic Robert Parker with our True Course Chardonnay leading the charge with a 94 point rating closely followed by our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon at 93+ Points.

Napa Green Land & Napa Green Winery Updates

Chateau Boswell became the first winery to be certified Napa Green in 2007 and the first to be recertified in 2010 by showing a further reduction in our environmental impact through the auditing of our green business practices which reduce our water and energy use and increase our recycling. There are currently 62 wineries in the Napa Valley certified through the Napa Green Program. More than 44,966 acres are enrolled in the Napa Green Land Program and more than 19,044 acres are currently certified.

The Napa Green Land and Winery certification process requires third party certification by government agencies for compliance with State, Federal, and local regulations for environmental management. Napa Green certification involves moving above and beyond this compliance including new technology and ideas for continually improving our practices to reduce our environmental impact. 2010 Harvest: Last Vineyard Has Been Picked

We are happy to announce that we picked the last vineyard for the 2010 harvest just before the weekend rains.With all of our fruit now "in the barn" we turn our attention to cellar work and small lot fermentation.
