The Chateau Boswell Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is noted for being a rich Cabernet Sauvignon blend produced from fruit sourced from two exceptional Napa Valley vineyards. Organic viticultural practices allow for the true expression of the terroir to be showcased in the final blend. Notes of sweet black cherry jam, spice intertwined with espresso beans and chocolate lead to a seductive nose that reveals a bit of this wine’s hedonistic character. While approachable in its youth, this wine will age gracefully for more than a decade.

LAM Vineyard
The location of the LAM vineyard is contiguous to the Chateau Boswell Estate property. Planted in the same gravelly loamy volcanic soil as the estate valley floor vineyard this vineyard produces just 3 tons of fruit annually. The 337 French Clone Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard is maintained organically and consistently produces a wine that is elegant in style with soft round tannins and concentrated fruit characteristics.

Our 2006 Chateau Boswell Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is known as the tapestry label by most of our clients. This wine is consistently noted for being a rich Cabernet Sauvignon blend produced from fruit sourced from two exceptional Napa Valley vineyards. This bottling brings together two of Napa Valley's marquee vineyards to create a wine that highlights the near perfect growing conditions of the 2005 vintage. The marriage of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon from Beckstoffer's To Kalon in Oakville and 13% Cabernet Franc from the Dr. Crane Vineyard in St. Helena has produced a wine that is dense and rich with round mouthcoating tannins. Notes of sweet black cherry jam intertwined with esspresso beans lead to a seductive nose that reveals a bit of this wine's hedonistic character. While approachable in its youth, this wine will age gracefully for more than a decade.

This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from the gravelly loam river bed soils of Beckstoffer Vineyard IV located on the Western side of Saint Helena. This vineyard's newer block of 337 clone Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented with indigenous yeasts and then barrel aged in 90% new French Oak for 19 months to produced a wine with aromas of crème de cassis, spice, and underlying floral components. On the palate this wine displays its balance with round plush tannins that buttress the core of dark cherry, currant, and vanilla that all lead to a long lingering finish. This wine offers the elegance of a Bordeaux with the power of a Napa Valley Cabernet.
