2010 Vintage

  • Production: 465 cases
  • Vineyards: Sonoma County
  • Cooperage: 35% New French Artisan Oak
  • Vinification: Hand sorted, whole cluster pressed, native yeast fermentation, Sur lies with bâtonnage

The latest offering of Jacquelyn Cuvee Blanc continues to be crafted in the same tradition of the classic white wines of Bordeaux. An equal blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, this wine is Barrel fermented in 35% New French oak creating a core of waxy, honeyed citrus oil, nectarine, and orange blossom-scented perfume which is followed by the texture of a white Burgundy. While most will drink this wine within a few years of release, our 2010 Cuvee Blanc has the structure to drink well for the next ten years.

The vineyards used for the Jacquelynn Cuvee Blanc each display a unique sense of place and character. With four different sites spread across Knights Valley, Bennett Valley, Alexander Valley & Dry Creek we source from vineyards that represent a range of soil types and micro climates. Access to vineyards that are between fifty and one hundred years old provide us with an extra layer of complexity and depth that help craft each cuvee. While each vineyard site shines on its own merits, our Bordeaux Blanc style wine highlights the belief that sometimes the sum is better than its parts.

  2008 Vintage

  • Production: 290 cases
  • Vineyards: Sonoma County

The third offering of Jacquelyn Cuvee Blanc continues to be crafted in the same tradition of the classic white wines of Bordeaux. Once again an equal blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, this wine gains a bit more power with addition of an old vine vineyard source to the trio of vineyards utilized in the previous vintages. Barrel fermented in 40% New French oak this wine is full bodied, with a core of honeyed fruits, beeswax balanced with minerality, fresh acidity and richness. While most will drink this wine within a few years of release, our 2008 Cuvee Blanc has the structure to drink well for the next ten years.
